We are a group of neighbors just like you who care about our community and want to protect it. We do not oppose development in general!  We Oppose development that threatens our neighborhoods and our suburban way of life. 

Often Land investors do not care about the impact of development on our community. Investors buy up properties in our neighborhood to assemble lots to sell to developers. For developers to pay the price land investors want, they are forced to stack high density "Stack a Shacks" where single family homes once were. To do so, they have to seek rezoning and unjustified variances or look to friendly cities to annex if the county rejects development. Sometimes, it's just a single ovrsized lot a developer wants to rezone and split into two or more parcels resulting in higher density.

Once single family lots are rezoned to higher density, the low density zoning protection for a neighborhood is lost forever and used to justify  destroying the zoning protection for the next neighborhood.  This cycle often leads to lost in home values and affordable housing which allows land investors to buy up and rip up more of a neighborhood accelerating the conversion process.

As this cycle repeats, it transforms our suburban neighborhoods to urban high density developments. This in turn causes more traffic, more demand for services, higher taxes, more crime, and threatens the quality of our schools.
